Thanks to a partnership between the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and the Fulton County Human Services Department's Office of Aging A bundle of Preventive health services, including flu and pneumonia vaccinations, will be widely available throughout Fulton County, beginning October 1st. The clinics are sponsored by SPARC (Sickness Prevention Achieved through Regional Collaboration), which brings together a host of local service providers throughout Fulton County in order to provide a "one-stop shop" for sickness prevention. The goal is to improve access to preventive services and increase the number of individuals, particularly older adults, who obtain flu shots, pneumonia caccinations, mammograms and other screening each year. |
